  • Prior to joining the team, she was a Private Equity Analyst intern at Themis Energy, a renewable energy projects developer focused on Sub-Saharan Africa.

  • Before joining West Capital Partners, Zainab worked as a Senior M&A Associate at Wagram Corporate Finance in Paris. She supported numerous clients in their divestment, acquisition, and financing transactions
  • She also worked as a Senior M&A Analyst at EY Paris, where she took part in several mergers & acquisitions and financial advisory engagements
  • Zainab graduated from EMLyon Business School in 2015 with a Masters of Science in Management majoring in Corporate Finance

  • He cumulated more than 15 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking
  • He was an Investment Manager at Attijari Finances Corp., leading investment bank in Morocco, where he executed several ECM, DCM and M&A transactions in Morocco and Subsaharan countries
  • He advised a diversified portfolio of Moroccan and international companies and executed major deals across various industrial sectors
  • Hamza graduated from INSA Lyon, 2008 and holds a MSc in Engineering – Specialized in Industry

Halima Lahlou

Manager

  • Halima joined West Capital Partners in 2023.
  • She started her career at KPMG in Paris, where she served as a Senior Financial Auditor within the Consumer Markets business unit.
  • She then joined Stellantis Group in Casablanca as a Project Finance manager for the MENA region, where she was involved in several projects such as the creation of a joint-venture in South Africa, the financial analysis of an Iranian industrial joint-venture, and the integration of Opel brand within MENA region.
  • Before joining West Capital Partners, Halima was an Assistant Manager in Transaction services at PwC Casablanca, where she conducted several financial due diligence missions in France, Morocco, and Senegal across various sectors including Healthcare, Hospitality, Retail, Energy and Industry.
  • Halima graduated from SKEMA Business School in 2014 with an MSc in Management – Specialized in Corporate Finance.

Anas Guennoun

MANAGING PARTNER

  • Anas founded West Capital Partners in 2017.
  • He started his career in 2000 at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris, where he spent 5 years advising large French groups in cross-border transactions.
  • Starting from 2005, and for more than 12 years, he founded and managed several PE platforms in North Africa, mainly serving as Country Manager in Morocco for Amundi (6 years) and then The Abraaj Group (6 years).
  • Anas serves on the boards of family-owned businesses operating in various sectors, including real estate, agriculture, agribusiness, hospitality and education.
  • He also holds the following positions:
    • President of the Morocco-UAE Business Council.
    • Vice President of the International Committee of CGEM (Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises).
    • Vice President of the board of the Bab Rayan Association, a public utility organization dedicated to the care, education, and training of orphans.
    • Board member and former Chairman of the Education for Employment Morocco foundation, a public utility organization addressing youth unemployment by bridging the gap between employers’ needs and the skills of young job seekers.
